Validation
By Mike Rule

Why is it we are always trying to have our experiences validate the word of God rather than having the word define our experiences?

God says we are holy, blameless, righteous, acceptable, and there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. Yet many of us don't feel that way and therefore conclude we are doing something wrong, or we are defective, unholy, guilty, unacceptable and unrighteous.

However, our misery when we are in sin is proof of our Holiness. God won't let us live anti Christ. Don't let your emotions be the standard for your condition. Let God be true.

Verses for Reflection

"For what if some were without faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God? May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, "That you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment." (Rom 3:3-4)

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways, says Jehovah. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. " (Isa 55:8-9)
