The Word Became Flesh… Verses for Reflection And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (John 1:14, 16, 17 KJVR) The thought of God (the Word) was verbalized and took on skin and bone in the form of Jesus Christ. He came in human form with all the physical and moral frailties of humanity (became flesh). He came into our camp to symbolize God's protection and His desire for communion with all of humanity (and dwelt among us). Because of this, we have been able to see first-hand the character of God as well as His heart toward us (and we beheld His Glory). Jesus become the only one who has ever completely fulfilled this most exalted state and given us a picture of God's heart through His most glorious condition of blessedness - He was blessed by His Father (the glory as of the only begotten of the Father). Jesus was overflowing with divine influence upon His heart and it was reflected through every moment of His life (full of Grace), and He embodies a mindset that is free from being moved by His emotions (affection), free of deceptive and false appearances (pretence), free of having a fake appearance, of being something He is not (simulation), free of lying and living in untruth (falsehood), and free of tricking people into thinking He is something He is not (deceit) (and truth). The very life of Christ overflowing with divine influence upon His heart, reflected through every moment of His Life, (and of His fullness) He has given US the very same life and essence - (we have received) a life overflowing with divine influence which is reflected through every moment of our lives (and Grace for Grace). Moses gave us a set of rules that was supposed to produce acceptance with God, (the law was given through Moses) but the fulfillment of those rules came in Christ, namely a life overflowing with divine influence, reflected through every moment life. Christ's life is free from being moved by His emotion, free of deceptive and false appearances, free of having a fake appearance, of being something He is not, free of lying and living in untruth, and free of tricking people into thinking He is something He is not (but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ). Look at everything written here and see who He is. Then know that it is also true of you! Because He is, so you are! Christ IS your LIFE!!! You are a partaker of His nature - you have everything you need for life and Godliness, and that same word wants to become flesh in YOU! You are complete in Him, because of Him! He IS the Great I AM! Amen???? |
