Greetings, my friends.

It has been a few weeks since we sent out a Reflection, and I apologize for that.  My recent itinerary has made it very difficult to work on a Reflection to send.  It is not that we don't have articles in process, but finding time to edit and prepare them for publication can be a real challenge sometimes.  So, for a change of pace, I thought I would send out something more informal and informative rather than a devotional.  I don't intend for this to sound like a sales pitch, but I don't know how to communicate my excitement about what is happening with LCMI in any other way.

There is a lot happening right now with LCMI, and we are working hard to put together our itinerary for the rest of 2007.  We are still unable to travel internationally, but the next few months hold a lot for us domestically.

I am speaking at a youth and young adult seminar on May 4 & 5 in the Milwaukee area.  This seminar is open to youth or young adults who might be interested in attending.  You can contact us for more information, or watch the Itinerary page on our website for the final details...

After that event we will be heading to Calumet, Michigan to review the projects for this year's Youth on a Mission team.  To learn more about Youth on a Mission, you can view photos of our past projects on our photo page.  This year's project is slated for June 19-27.  The project is open to high school age teens.   Applications for this year's team will be available soon.  Watch our website for more information, or contact the LCMI office for more details.

For those who have completed both LCMI's Living: His Perspective, and Living:His Perspective In-Depth seminars, we are offering two training opportunities this year.  The first  -- Training in Personalities and Personal Histories -- is being held July 19-23 in the Cass City, Michigan area.  The second -- Diagram Training -- is being held August 17-20 in the Cass City area.  To learn more about our Discipleship Training Path  contact our office or view our website.

The event we are most excited about is our first ever LCMI Men's retreat.  We are holding this event at Bayshore Camp in Sebewaing, Michigan on September 21-23.  We are planning to cover many things relating specifically to men.  Topics will include how men communicate, why and how men self-protect, how men are being emasculated in today's world, and we also plan to take a hard look at male spirituality and why the church as we know it is failing men today.  Be sure to not miss out on this exciting event.  For a registration form and more information contact the LCMI office.

We are excited to inform you about the new page we have added to our website called "Listen".  We are adding some of our old audio resources for you to listen to free of charge.  We will be adding more messages over time, so be sure to check back often.

Becky has also added her recent prayer letter to our Discussion forum.  On the main menu we have changed the name of the LCMI Forum to "Interact".  Please be sure to stop by and check it out, and if you are not registered, please consider doing so!  We would love to have you join in our online discussion community. We have also added our most recent by the Way newsletter on our website.  You can read it by clicking here.  To read this you will need the Adobe PDF reader that can be downloaded free from Adobe's website.  Click here to download the reader.

Well, I guess that us enough updates for this time.

Shalom, friends.
Mike
