Purity All it takes is one drop of raw sewage to contaminate a pitcher of pure water. Likewise, one speck of impurity would contaminate Jesus and He would no longer be pure. If Jesus dwells in us and we are in Him, then we must be totally pure! "You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver melted in a crucible." (Psalm 66:10) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (Corinthians 5:17) Pause and reflect today on how pure you are. "...you have stripped off your old evil nature and all its wicked deeds. In its place you have (been clothed) with a brand-new nature that is continually being renewed as you learn more and more about Christ, who created this new nature within you. In this new life, it doesn't matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us." (Colossians 3:9b-11)
