Identity Lies

Knowing our identity in Christ is important, but it is a lesser truth that must always give way to a greater truth - Christ Himself. Knowing my identity in Christ does not save me from one moment of the daily misery of life. Only Jesus can do that. In fact, often knowing our identity in Him can make us more miserable because we think we know what we should be experiencing.

We don't need knowledge or understanding, we need Jesus. When He is in focus, all lesser truths become true, but if He is out of focus all lesser truths become untruths. Only Jesus is THE Truth!
