Praising in Unbelief Recently I have been amazed at some things God has done in my life and as a result, praise comes pouring out. One day in the midst of this He said to me, "Mike, you are not amazed at what I did, you are amazed that I did it at all! Your amazement and praise only reveals your unbelief." He is right - as usual! :) This was confirmed by what I recently read in the Jewish New Testament. Ephesians 1:5, 12, and 14 use the phrase, "Bring Him praise commensurate with His glory." I often do not bring Him praise commensurate with His Glory, I bring Him praise commensurate with my unbelief. The depth of this challenges me to the core of my being.
